Made of pure Basalt and deeply engraved, these stones are approxmiately 3" by 2.5" in size. Stones are without oil in the photo above to show the high quality of basalt.
To receive the maximum benefit from chakra therapy, during a Hot Stone Massage, these stones have been crafted lovingly and can be used by the Experienced Massage Therapist and non-Therapist alike. They have been made to be placed under the body (front or back) as to not be intrusive or uncomfortable.
These are engraved hot stones for the purpose of application of heat (hot stone massage), to open the chakra with the appropriate symbol and then applying the correlating essential oil for that particular chakra directly to that stone, if so desired. The application of individual oils is not necessary but a nice touch to individualize the treatment of each stone.
Hot stone massage is a specialty massage that uses smooth, heated stones. They are often basalt, a black volcanic rock that absorbs and retains heat well. It is a deeply soothing, relaxing form of massage. The heat helps tight muscles release.
